In compliance with Italian Legislative Decree dated 30 June 2003, no. 196 (Privacy Code), as amended, we hereby provide you with the due information in relation to the processing of personal data provided by you. The information should not be considered valid for other website that may be consulted via links on the websites in the domain of the controller, which is not to be considered in any way liable for the websites of third parties. This information is also provided in accordance with Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code. The information document is also based upon Recommendation No. 2/2001 adoped by the European Authority for the protection of personal data, combined in the Group established by Art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, on 17 May 2001 to identify some minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data and, in particular, the methods, timescales and nature of the information that processing controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, irrespective of the purposes of the connection, as well as the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC, in relation to Cookies.

The processing is performed at the sites of the Processing Controller and at the sites of identified external entities.

2) Types of data processed
Personal and identification data
Personal data, any information relating to individuals, identified or identifiable, by way of reference to any other information, therein including a personal identification number.
Identification data, personal data that allows for the direct identification of the interested party (by way of example, name, surname, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc…).
Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures in charge of operating this website acquire, during their normal exercise, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties but it may, by its very nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow for users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the website, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
Data provided voluntarily by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary transmission of e-mail to the addresses indicated on this website and/or the completion of data collection forms involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, required to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered.

3) Processing purposes for which consent is given, where requested (Art. 23 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03)
A) Data of a personal nature, provided voluntarily, will be processed for the following purposes:
browsing on this internet website;
possible completion of data collection forms for requests for quotation and/or contacts and/or submission of CVs;
possible completion of data collection forms for online booking;
administrative-accounting activities in general.
For the purposes of applying the provisions in relation to personal data protection, the processing performed for administrative-accounting purposes is that connected to the conduct of activities of an organisational, administrative, financial and accounting nature, irrespective of the nature of the processed data. In particular, the internal organisation activities, functional to the fulfilment of contractual and pre-contractual obligations and informative activity, pursue those purposes.
B) Personal data provided when completing data collection forms present on the websites or data collection forms in general (such as name, surname, e-mail address) will be processed, subject to consent, by the Processing Controller and Managers for activities of a commercial/promotional nature and for sending newsletters by e-mail.

4) Processing methods – storage
The processing will be performed in automated and manual form, with methods and tools aimed at ensuring the maximum security and confidentiality, by persons specifically instructed in compliance with the provisions of Art. 31 et seq of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03. The data will be stored for a period not exceeding the purposes for which the data was collected and subsequently processed.

5) Scope of communication and dissemination
Your data, subject to processing, will not be disseminated and may be communicated to companies contractually linked to the Rivalta srl, for the purpose of complying with contracts or related purposes. The data may be communicated to third parties belonging to the following categories:
entities that provide services for management of the information system used by the Rivalta srl and the telecommunications networks;
firms or companies as part of support and consultancy relationships;
relevant authorities for the fulfilment of legal obligations and/or orders of public bodies, upon request.
The entities belonging to the aforementioned categories perform the function of data processing Manager, i.e. they operate in complete autonomy as separate processing controllers. The list of managers is constantly updated and available at the headquarters of the Rivalta srl. Any further communication or dissemination will only occur subject to your explicit consent.

6) Nature of provision and refusal
Except as specified for browsing data, users are free to provide personal data. The provision of data for the purposes set out in point A) is necessary. Any refusal to provide data for the purposes in point A) will involve the impossibility of obtaining what is requested or the impossibility of using the Processing Controller’s services. The provision of consent to data processing for the purposes set out in point B) is optional. Any refusal of consent for the purposes illustrated in point B) will not produce any negative effect for the purposes set out in point A).

7) Rights of the interested parties
You may invoke your rights as expressed by Art. 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Italian Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196, by contacting the processing controller or manager, via our headquarters. You are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the data and to know of its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to request its supplementation or update, or rectification (Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code). In accordance with that article you are entitled to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or block on data processed in breach of the law, as well as to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to its processing.
Where you contact the controller, you are asked to provide your e-mail address, name, address and/or telephone number in order for your request to be managed correctly.

8) Amendments to privacy policy
The controller reserves the right to amend, update, supplement or remove parts of this privacy policy at its discretion and at any time. The interested party is required to check any amendments periodically. In order to facilitate those verifications, the policy will contain an indication of the updated data of the policy. Use of the website, after publication of the amendments, will constitute acceptance of the same.

9) Social plug-ins
Our web pages may contain plug-ins of Social Networks. If you access one of our web pages equipped with a similar plug-in, the internet browser connects directly to the social network and the plug-in is displayed on the screen thanks to the connection with the browser. Before using those Plug-ins, please consult the privacy policy of those social networks, on their official pages.
